PiCorePlayer and/or LMS and/or Squeezebox

First I'd like to say that I'm very impressed by the web setups for PiCorePlayer, LMS, Squeezebox, etc.
Really, well done.

Currently, I have a Pi4 B+ 4GB running Volumio with my music stored on a thumb drive plugged
into a USB 3.0 port on the Pi4.. I am able to use the Android app to connect to Volumio on the Pi4
via wifi running on the Pi4, and to select and play music from the thumb drive outputting to one
of Pi4's hdmi ports. All seems to work as expected. My problem with Volumio is that the user
interface needs a bit of work here and there.

I have a separate stereo setup I'm building out and I thought I'd give PiCorePlayer a shot.

The problem I am having with PiCorePlayer is that I'm unable to find a way, other than ethernet,
to actually connect to it (via PiCorePlayer, LMS, or Squeezebox). I have turned on wifi, bluetooth,
squeezebox, etc., but I can never see any wifi or bluetooth signal coming from the Pi4.
Even though the menus show that I have turned it/them on I cannot see wifi or bluetooth on the
Pi4 outputting a relevant signal that any phone or pad can detect. I've even tried turning on the
wifi access point (though I may have gotten that configuration wrong).

It occurs to me that maybe PiCorePlayer/LMS/Squeezebox only look for those signals to connect
OUT to some server running wifi or bluetooth, and that it doesn't offer in bound connections to
control the software to play music.

Is it possible to use an Android app to connect to PiCorePlayer/LMS/Squeezebox to control music
selection from the usb thumb drive for playback over a selected output (3.5mm, USB, hdmi) as I
am able do with Volumio?

Could someone set me straight on this? A small howto outline would be nice.

Thank you.
