Hi,
I am running the stock LMS 7.7.2 on my Synology NAS (412+, dual core atom) where I also have the majority of my music (3.2 TB of mostly FLACs), interfacing w a squeezebox touch, soon to be replaced by a mac mini running squeezelite (Thanks Triode, marvelous job!).
I have no stability or CPU issues but would really like to run 7.8 on the NAS instead of 7.7.2 for one major reason - the ability to PCM stream 192/24 FLAC files from the server to the client.
I apologize if this is already covered, but tried searching with no results.
I am relatively comfortable poking around in linux environments, but was hoping that there is some other solution rather than compiling the source code on the NAS.
I've posted on the Synology forums, but there is a deathly silence there, it seems no-one from the company ever looks at the forums ever.
Please help!
