Hello.
I wanted to start slowly to create a post here, which I'm just (the last few years ;-) ) tinkering.
It is about the conversion of an old "Blaupunkt Digita 24" FlipClap clock radio.
At the end of the project it should get a VfD display, which supports squeezelite and FB.
This is the original radio.

And here with a new front panel (without the radio scale) and 20x2 VfD.

Everything else I would like to document here step by step.
I have tried various distributions. But with each of them I failed at some point.
Actually I wanted to set up the whole thing with the piCorePlayer distribution. Here I failed unfortunately at the development environment.
Then I took Alpine Linux, but unfortunately I couldn't get LIRC to work.
In the end I ended up with RaspiOS.
Unfortunately, I am not a coder or developer.
I've made some code from various sources and I will try to quote all sources as well.
A little cliffhanger, the clock from the LMS on the display.

Well that's all the time I have for now, I'll be updating this post with Actual details when I get more time.
Greetings to all of you and stay healthy Markus.
