I am currently trying to shift from volumio to piCorePlayer, as I appreciate some capabilities which are not freely available in volumio (e.g., analogue input, bluetooth) .
I tested piCoreplayer and almost everything works fine on my RPI 4, using HifiBerry DAC+ as HAT. So far so good.
The only issue is that I can't make my touchscreen (Waveshare 7inch HDMI LCD (C)) run properly. While the console looks fine during the boot process, the actual presentation of piCoreplayer (i.e., jivelite) on the screen is shifted/wrong.
I have already played around with config.txt and tried the different options. I also added the Waveshare settings:
max_usb_current=1
hdmi_group=2
hdmi_mode=87
hdmi_cvt 1024 600 60 6 0 0 0
hdmi_drive=1
I also successfully managed to calibrate the touch screen, following some forum instructions.
Since the screen is working properly during the boot process but only behaves weird when jivelite starts, I suppose this has something to do with some jivelite settings. Also, the touch seems to work correctly, as I can use it. It is just not aligned with the jivelite screen.
If there is anyone who can give me some advise, I would be very thankful. I already did some extensive google research, including this forum, yet without success. Since this is a very famous screen I believe, others could be interested in solving this issue as well. Thank you.
