Hi All,
I've been trying to get shairtunes working on my 3 year old Centos 5.6/LMS install. As part of this I updated to 7.8, while shairtunes still wouldn't work, everything else was working as before.
So I decided to double check everything including perl dependencies and I stupidly did a "yum update perl". While the system is still on 5.8.8, the yum log shows it did update perl to 5.8.8-41. Now the Squeezeboxserver Daemon fails to start with the following error:
service squeezeboxserver start
Starting Squeezebox Server: Attempt to free unreferenced scalar: SV 0xa038e9c, Perl interpreter: 0x9f69008 at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/FindBin.pm line 101.
bash: line 1: 4310 Segmentation fault /usr/libexec/squeezeboxserver --daemon --prefsdir=/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs --logdir=/var/log/squeezeboxserver --cachedir=/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache --charset=utf8
[FAILED]
This system is driving my home multi room audio setup, so now getting grief from the Mrs. Any help greatly appreciated. :(
