Switching from 7.7.2 to 7.8 - advice needed

I used the following guide to install 7.7.2 on my Cubieboard with Debian:

If I wanted to replace 7.7.2 with LMS 7.8, can someone advise what the steps would be?

Would

dpkg -i logitechmediaserver_7.8_all.deb be sufficient

.. or would I have to uninstall and start again?
