Just came back from a few days in West Virginia. I took my SB Boom and an RPI running PiCorePlayer 3.5 and a 250GB thumb drive with 8000 flac files. I used the AP Mode feature and had the best portable music player I have ever experienced. What a pleasure. I am going to be so depressed when my Boom goes the way of my SB Radio. I have yet to find any type of replacement with as much fidelity and volume in such a small package.
I carry the RPI in my car, plugged in to the Aux input and control it with my phone. great sound and easily pulled out and set up in a hotel room or cabin. Double duty!!
