Squeezelite is not running

I have a Pi 3b with a HifiBerry DAC2 HD. I was running PiCorePlayer 8.1. All was working correctly.

I upgraded to PiCorePlayer 8.2 and got the error Squeezelite is not running. If I choose headphones as the output in the Squeezelite settings then Squeezelite starts but when I choose DAC2HD I get the error.

I downgraded to 8.1 but am still getting the error despite it working previously.

Any suggestions to get this working would be appreciated.
