Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if this is an inherent problem.
I've used my RPi2/iqaudioDAC+ with Moode for a while but I can't get used to the UI, much prefer using iPeng. Sound wise it's not far behind my Logitech Touch into an Audiolab MDAC. With the goal in mind of using iPeng, I downloaded picoreplayer 2.06. I've set the audio output as 'I2S audio:iqaudioPi-DAC+' and clicked save and restarted. I've left all the other options as standard. Verdict? It sounds terrible - muddy, ponderous and wholly dull. Are there other settings I need to make or is this as good as it gets? Since it sounds fine using Moode I have to assume it the picoreplayer software or a setting that's the problem.
Can anyone suggest anything that might be causing the problem?
