Installing and running lms in a debian vm

Hi,

I've been happy for long years with my sq boom and sq3. LMS was running on a qnap nas and then on a synology. Installation was not really simple (ssots or ssods) for a newbie like me but after some efforts it was ok. The only thing i couldn't really manage was the db because of the reinstallation and differents upgrades.
I want to have the airplay feature so i can stream deezer from idevices trough lms and logitech devices. It's mainly for my wife who often listen music but never really understood lms. It's much more simple ti use the iphone to listen music with the airplay feature. And moreover the deezer plugin doesn't have the same functionnalities (flow,...).
I tried to achieve that with my synology lms server but i could not have it working because of avahi daemon and dbus problems i couldn't solve.

I then found a docker image of a lms with airplay abilities but that was not working (lms was ok but not the airplay due to dbus problem) and i absolutly know nothing about docker.
So i have an esxi 5.5 host with plenty of space and some ressources with a ready to run debian jessie vm.
I found many tutorials to install lms in a debian but all of these use a repo that is no more available.

Do you know where i can get documentation to install lms and maintain it up to date with the ability to read music from a nas share and use airplay features?
Perhaps using a db on a nas would also be a good idea.
